Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard (RFAD)
Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard is an always-on radio station — a curated, continuous stream of music programmed in the spirit of the Los Angeles-based music journal Aquarium Drunkard. Press play and listen; there’s nothing to configure.
What you need
- An active Apple Music subscription. Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard plays full tracks through Apple Music, so a current subscription is required. The app will ask permission to connect to Apple Music the first time you play.
- An iPhone running a recent version of iOS.
Common questions
It won’t play / asks about Apple Music. Make sure you’re signed in to Apple Music with an active subscription, and that you allowed RFAD to connect when prompted. You can review this under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music.
Playback stopped or stalled. Reopening the app usually gets the stream back on the air. If it keeps happening, please tell us — and if the app has a “Share logs” option, use it to attach diagnostic logs to your email so we can see what went wrong.
